Safety
Bianchi has had a lifetime commitment to safety. Worker training and a safe job
site are -- and always have been -- our number one priority. We have invested a
great deal of time and money to develop our "Zero Tolerance" health and safety
plan: This plan has been embraced by all of our employees and has helped us to
emerge as one of the safest demolition contractors in the country.
A comprehensive safety manual, documented safety audits and meetings are
conducted on a monthly basis. The meetings and training cover a list of more
than 25 areas. Each year, the company holds mandatory safety training sessions
for all employees, where safety policies and procedures are emphasized,
accidents and near-misses are discussed, and lost-time accidents are reviewed.
During the event, safety awards are provided to the top performers within the
company, and this recognition has created a sense of pride for our employees.
The company’s managing partners are actively involved in the training and awards
programs.
As important from an economic standpoint, a superior safety record results in
lower insurance costs, which translates into more competitive costs for you –
our valued customers. With a current insurance experience modification rating of
.80, our safety performance track record is 20% better than the average
demolition contractors in the industry. Put another way, as a Bianchi client,
our safety and experience as a contractor actually lower your bottom line cost.
